He was predeceased by: his father Charles William Fickes, Jr.; his stepfather Kenneth Bruce VanMeter; and his brother Robin Eugene Fickes. He is survived by: his mother Iva May VanMeter (Parish); his nephews, Chuck and Mike; his wife Deborah Arlene Fickes (Stalnaker); his children, Jason Allen Fickes (Markell) and Amy Marie Jones (Justin) of Swanton, MD; his siblings, Charles Kenneth Fickes (Barbara) of Salina, KS, Lloyd William Fickes (Irene) of Dubois, PA and Sherry Lynn Graham (Fred); his grandchildren, Kelly, Tabytha, Kelsey, Kennedy, Isla and Rory; and his sister-in-law Jolene Fickes (Blake Huber) of Canton, KS. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
