It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Evans of Oakland, Maryland, born in Horse Shoe Run, West Virginia, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber Evans and Bessie Evans (Winters); his wife Nora Evans (Opel); and his siblings, Darwin, Ralph, Cecil, Harold, Grace Harsh, Gladys Hauser, Hilda Holland, Ruby Skinner and Nina Wallace.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Evans of Corinth, WV, Kim Stahl (Kevin) of Oakland, MD, Bonnie Evans (Mike Lecrone) of York, PA, Dennis Evans of Grafton, WV and Kelley Evans of Edgewood, MD; his grandchildren, Alisha Stahl of Oakland, MD, Hannah Heard (Matt) of Wakeman, OH, Malachia Evans of Greenbrier, TN, Jacob and Josiah Evans; his great grandchild Elliana Heard; and also Chris of Terra Alta, WV. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
