He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred M. Calhoun and Nellie M. Calhoun (Stottlemeyer); and his sister Lavena Bray (Calhoun). He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Calhoun (Vance); his children, Edsel C. Calhoun, Jr. (Beverly), Eric C. Calhoun (Cherie) and Lisa K. Liberda (Brent); his grandchildren, Rebekah, Benjamin, Samuel, Micah, Nathaniel, Joseph, Noah, Grace, Isaac Calhoun, Madeline Calhoun, Malachi, Isaiah, Levi and Miriam Liberda; his great grandchildren, Emmalee, Brooke, Harrison, Jackson and Xia Calhoun; and his siblings, Larue Lewis (Calhoun) and Jerry Calhoun.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crellin United Brethren in Christ, 65 Otterbein St., Crellin, MD 21550.
