He is survived by: his wife Joyce Anne Nixon (Miller); his children, Earl R. Nixon III (Nicole), Melissa K, Cumberland, Virginia L. Nixon and Lavern A. Nazelrod (Oakland); and his siblings, Raymond Nixon, Mary Wagner of Corriganville, MD and Cinda Buckalew of Corriganville, MD. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
