He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Bob and Carol Stewart. He is survived by: his parents, George Moon and Eleanor Moon (Tasker) of Oakland; his wife Wendy Moon (Stewart); his siblings, William "Bill" Moon, Albert Moon (Dawn), Hallie Metheny (Joe) of Oakland, Ida Meyers (Jeff) of Oakland and Tammy Moon of Oakland; his brothers-in-law, George of Kitzmiller and Gerald Stewart of Kitzmiller; his nieces and nephews, Chelsea, Cassie, Josh and Karlee; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lila, Caedon, Alyssa and Braydon.

“My grandmother, Mary Liller (Moon) , who married Errice Liller, was a distant cousin of Darvin. Her children maintained close ties with the Moon family, My dad, Irven (Ebb) was one of them. I am Irven’s son Delbert. I had great admiration of Darvin for his accomplishments. I taught Darvin’s brother, Albert, metalwork. So sorry for his life to end so soon.”
