He was predeceased by: his parent Dorsey C. Rumer; and his siblings, Warren Rumer, Ellen Simmons and Shirley Pittman. He is survived by: his parent Emma C. Rumer (Nair); his wife Sylvia A. Rumer; his daughters, Christy L. Rumer-Bittinger (Roy), Beth Ann Tasker (Jason) and Deanna Murphy; his siblings, Dorsey Rumer (Ermal), Betty Johnson (San), Mary Simmons of Fairmont, WV and Barbara Tusing of Oakland; his grandchildren, Danielle, Brandon, Aowyn and Reese; and his great grandchild Vivianna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
