She is survived by: her parent Viola Delphia Griffin (Knotts); her children, James D. Boyce (Barbara), Gary E. Boyce, Loch Lynn and Claudine; her friend Oakland; and her brother Ray Whitacre of Kitzmiller, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
