It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Wilkins (Oakland, Maryland), who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Cora leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Cora may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Friend and Alice Friend (Degie); her husband Ruhl Wilkins Jr.; and her siblings, Darl Friend, Lula Hinebaugh and Jane Frailey.
She is survived by: her son Richard; and her friends, Glen Burnie, Berlin "Pat", Crellin and Judy Teets of Arizona. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
