She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Christine Mellinger (McKee) of Oakland and Calvin Mellinger; her husband Mark Wayne Carpenter; her children, Alex Mellinger of Oakland, Randi Carpenter (Beau Piper) of Oakland and Mandi Lee of Confluence, PA; her grandchildren, Fox Carpenter-Piper and Max Carpenter-Piper; her sisters, Kathy Tressler of Florida and Anna Stemple of Oakland; her sister-in-law Sandra Kay Carpenter of Pittsburgh, PA.; and her sister Diane Guy.
