He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Elmer and Nellie Dixon (Zimmerman); his former wife Lorraine Dixon (Bittinger); his son Wayne Earl Dixon; and his sister Gail Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dixon (Harvey); his children, Brian (Julie), Nathan (Angie), Cindy Snyder (Hudson) and Michelle Harvey; his grandchildren, Ashley (Nico), Abby Spiker, Stephanie Smith (Zach), Bryson, Joel Dixon (Ariel), Leah Brown (Connor), Brianna and Kelcie Dixon; his great grandchildren, Bradley Schrag, Linden Brown and Elisabetta Fabbrizio; and his siblings, Larry, Eugene Dixon and Shirley Glotfelty.
