He was predeceased by: his parents, John Warden and Elsie Bernice Smith (Denning); his wife Marlene Smith; and his brother Carlton Albert "Bud" Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Butler and Linda Kourey (William); and his sisters, Thelma Stewart and Rebecca Walter (Fred). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
