He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Thomas and Katharine Thomas; his wife Shirley Fay Thomas (Tressler); and his brother James Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Diana Thomas, Charles Thomas, Jr. (Linda), Debbie Savage and Brad Thomas (JaNel); and his grandson Samuel Thomas (Jennifer). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
