He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sprankle and Edna May Royer (Harpster); his wife Evelyn Hagan Royer (Peters); and his sister Jean Eleanor Sheffer. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Lynn Royer and Donna Leigh Whitehead (Chuck); his grandsons, Andrew Charles Whitehead (Lindsay) and David Brandon Whitehead; and his great grandchildren, Madeline and Carson Whitehead. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
