She was predeceased by: her parents, Acie Zewingle and Minnie Marie Simon (Summerville); her husbands, Ray Charles Elliott and Edward Lowell Hoye; and her siblings, Henry, Oliver, Charles, Acie Junior Simon, Sarah Elbin, Virginia and Lucy Simon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Lou Walker (James) and Judy Lee Keplinger (William Sr.); her grandchildren, Jennifer Todd, Jody Veith (Bobby), Judy Reel (John), Todd Tasker, Tereka Lloyd, Toby Tasker (Sondra), Erin Moyer (Rob) and Jimmy Walker; her great grandchildren, Clarissa, Makayla, Lashley, Shawn, Kassie, Cheyenne, Chloe, Bryanna, Adrioanna, Savannah, Kierra, Karley, Brandon, Jessica and Macey; her great great grandchildren, Mylah and Kingsley; her sisters, Donna McCrobie and Dora Clark (Donald); and her close friend Howard Hoffman. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
