It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Helen Braun of Oakland, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennings Robert Chinault and Ida Elizabeth Chinault Frost (Garvin); her husband Frank Ronald Braun; her stepdaughters, Cathy Bennick Swanson and Mary Alice Martin; and her sister Juanita Naetzel.
She is survived by: her children, L. Scott Loar and Sandi Hazlett; her stepdaughters, Charlotte Caba and Patty Hall Hunsicker; and her sister Mary E. Chinault. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one step-greatgrandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
