He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Hardesty and Arta Hardesty (Lish). He is survived by: his children, Susan Donovan Cathcart (David) of Charlottesville, VA and Frank Hardesty (Angie) of Aldie, VA; and his grandchildren, Bremen Donovan, Leo Boniface and Emma Donovan.
Services will be private with interment in the Moon Cemetery. Due to current COVID concerns, a celebration of life will be held outdoors this summer.
