She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Paugh and Pauline Davis; her husband Daniel Layman Upole; her siblings, Wesley Paugh, Jr., Charles Paugh, Alberta Sweitzer, Helen Michaels, Bessie Bowsers and Dessie Tasker; and her grandson Carl Kitzmiller.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel L. Upole (Cara R.), Robert A. "Bud" Upole (Christine A.), Shirley Ann Upole and Mary M. Kitzmiller (Jay A.); her sister Jean Whitacre; and her grandchildren, Michael Miller, Jessica Miller, Michelle Riggleman, Erica Bowman, Misty McMasters, Malia Bunce, Micah Kinsinger, Thomas Upole, Nicole Goldsborogh, Erica Gallagher, Shawn Gallagher, Curtis Kitzmiller and Cory Kitzmiller. She is also survived by twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
