She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Ray and Ethel Mae Sisler (Teets); her husband Norman E. Strawser of Norman's Place; her sons, Ray, Roy, Ralph and Conley Hardesty; her stepdaughter Joy Wimer; and her brothers, Carl, Bruce and Paul Sisler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ethel Butler (Allen) of Terra Alta, Alpha Loughrie (Dana) of Terra Alta and Brenda Thomas (Doug Falkner); her stepson David Strawser of Laurel, MD; and her pet Bootsy. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
