With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettie Armstrong of Oakland, Maryland, born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sirbaugh and Mary Elizabeth Sirbaugh (Lazier); her husband Henry Leroy Armstrong, Sr.; her grandson Jeremy Wiles; her great grandchild Ryan White; and her son-in-law Jerry Gank, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Henry L. Armstrong, Jr. (Brittany) of Oakland, Michael Armstrong (Chelsea) of Oakland, Robert Armstrong of Woodstock, VA, Gladys Pauline Gank of Oakland, Pamela DeWitt of Oakland and Sandy Phillips (Neil) of Elkridge, MD. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
