Though Valerie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her mother Leah Gibson. She is survived by: her cousins, Paul Ruchames (Michelle Benjamin-Ruchames), Jeremy Ruchames, Rebecca Ruchames and Adena Ruchames; and her aunt Clarisse Ruchames.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Baltimore Hebrew Belair Road Cemetery (2100 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21213).
