She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas M. Moore; and her parents, Warren R. Hatch and Katherine P. Hatch. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Thomas W. Moore and L. Katherine Moore.

In remembrance of Katherine's compassionate spirit, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Save the Chimps (http://www.savethechimps.org), a cause that was very dear to her heart.
