He was predeceased by: his son John Puelzt, Jr.; his wife Mary P. Puelzt; and his sister Dorothy Ann Himmelmann. He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Jones; his stepchildren, Doreen Trainor, Vicki Keller and Stephen Gaugh; his grandchildren, Julie, Adam, Brad, Emily, Bryan, Alex and Kelly; and his sister Mary Ellen Smith.
