It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frieda Maria Ratych (Nottingham, Maryland), who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juliana Simonik and Peter Simonik; and her sister Gertrude Podolak. She is survived by: her husband Alexander Peter Ratych; her sons, Paul and Steven Ratych; her daughter-in-law Christine Ratych (Paul Ratych); her grandchildren, Joseph, Adam Jessica, Kaitlyn, Andrew and Nicholas Ratych; her great grandchild Mateo Ratych; and her sister Olga Hanas.

She did volunteer work for the Maryland School for the Blind, American Cancer Society and March of Dimes.
