She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Smith and Roselie Smith of Nottingham, MD.; her husband Therman Gray; and her siblings, George, Russell, Jr., John, Margaret and Amelia.

She is survived by: her aunt Mary Batson; and her siblings-in-law, Charlotte, Shirley Smith and James Proctor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
