He was predeceased by: his wife Victoria Poremski; his grandson Patrick W. Lee; his parents, Joseph Poremski and Mary Poremski; and his brother Joseph Poremski.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Lee (Patrick), Albert J. Poremski, Jr. (Ruthann), Lois Johnson (Joe), Gary Poremski (Lisa) and Paul Poremski (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Joseph Johnson (Jenna), Matthew Poremski (Abbey), Laura Poremski (Ben), Grace Poremski, Brooke Poremski, Blake Poremski, Paige Poremski, Barbara Rhee (John), Jennifer McNamara and Christopher Lee (Michele); his great grandchildren, Lucas Poremski, Elizabeth Rhee, Kelly McNamara and Johnathan Lee; his siblings, Stanley Poremski and Anna Wiscott; and his sister-in-law Rosalie Dietz (Donald). He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
