He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion B. and Marie Viola Cieplak, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Lilly Cieplak; his children, Christina Cieplak and Marion "Alex" Cieplak III; his siblings, Valeria Skarbek, Stanley Cieplak (Rusty), John Cieplak, Mary Alice Cieplak, Dr. Patrick Cieplak (Karen), Leon Cieplak and Bernard Cieplak (Lisa); and his brother-in-law Alexander Momchilovich. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Marion "Alex" Cieplax III, 8004 Bellefonte Lane, Clinton, MD 20735.
