It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erik H. Hauri (North Potomac, Maryland), who passed away on September 5, 2018, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his spouse Tracy Hauri; his children, Kevin Hauri, Matthew Hauri and Michaela Hauri; his parent Lawrence Hauri; and his siblings, Stacy Mariano and Roger Hauri.

Erik requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Merle A. Tuve Fellowship program that provides support for scientists from around the world for short stays to work with DTM scientists.
