He was predeceased by: his wife Eula M. Horton; his grandson Keith Milan; his nephew Donnie Neal; and his siblings, Shirley Ray, Faye Meyers, Mildred Wild and Clyde Horton.

He is survived by: his children, Jerry W. Hobbs and Karen Milan (Anthony); his brother Donnie Horton; his grandson Chad Milan (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Travis and Lilly Milan.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Old Apostolic Lutheran Church (2038 Pleasant Valley Rd, Newark, DE 19702). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church (2038 Pleasant Valley Rd, Newark, DE 19702).
