It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis Grove Miller Jr. of North East, Maryland, born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Grove Miller, Sr. and Elizabeth Miller (McCool); his wife Arlene Kell Miller; and his brother John "Jack" Charles Miller. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth S. Miller (Kay) of Milton, DE, Dianne E. Russell (Bill) of North East, MD and Alfred "Al" G. Miller (Karen) of North East, MD; and his grandchildren, Kiersten Sponaugle (Paul), Korin Parks (Chris), Brian Russell (Cheryl), Nicki Eyman (Brad), Katie Hayden (Lonnie), Mike Miller (Emily), Robbie Miller (Christy) and Laura Moss (Kurt). He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel for Towers or to the F. Grove Miller Scholarship for the MD State Fair, both in care of the funeral home.
