We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2020, at the age of 80, Diane Thompson (North East, Maryland), born in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Clarence Thompson; and her grandsons, Jeffrey Mitchell Thompson, Jr. and Jack Lee Smith. She is survived by: her sons, James T. Smith, Jr. of Honey Brook, PA, John Joseph Smith of Colorado Springs, CO and Jeffrey David Smith of Rising Sun, MD; her stepchildren, James C. Thompson of Elkton, MD, Claire E. Gregor of Elkton, MD and Jeffrey M. Thompson of Church Hill, MD; her grandchildren, James T. Smith, III, Candice Gregor, Stephanie Daneshgar, Valerie Thompson and James Thompson, III; and her great grandchildren, Aerianna Wharton, Savannah Gardner, Violet Gardner and Madelynn Daneshgar.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
