He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Luen Jr. and Grace Violet Ashby (Seitz); his wife Barbara Jean Ashby; his nephew Brian Matthew Ashby; his children, Lori Marie Ashby of Edgewater, Wayne Eugene Ashby of North Beach and Robert Michael Ashby II of Chattanooga, TN; his granddaughter Sydney Lee Ashby; and his brothers, Charles Luen Ashby III (Doris) of Waldorf and David Lee Ashby (Nancy) of Gaithersburg.
