He is survived by: his parents, Robert Francis, Jr. and Lena Ann Pettit (Windsor); his wife Donelle Lynn Pettit of North Beach; his children, Justin Edward Sears (Nick Sullinger) of Brooklyn, NY and Megan Grace Sears (Tyler Gilkerson) of Fort Collins, CO; his siblings, Anne Marie Lindsay (Jimmy), James Albert Pettit (Karen) of Upper Marlboro and Charles Anthony Pettit of Upper Marlboro; his mother-in-law Donna Sweeney of Chesapeake Beach; his sister-in-law Dawn Fitzgerald (Darrell) of Prince Frederick; and his pets, Elsie and Teeny. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
