She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Dyer and Edith Dyer; her children, Charles Sanford, Susan Sharpe, Donald Sanford and William Sanford; and her daughters-in-law, Donna Sanford and Ann Sanford. She was also cherished by seven granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
