He is survived by: his wife Nellie Ann Brown; his children, William Melvin (Tammy), Rodney Michael (Dorcey), Larry Jerome, James Sterling, Delores Knott (Ernest), Arlene Cynthia, Brenda Spurgeon, Angela Rawlings (Kirk) and Sabrina Wells; his siblings, Thomas, Robert Barbour (Natasha), Mary Jennifer, Thelma Bowman (Louis) and Theresa Barbour; his siblings-in-law, Freddie (Rosie), Thomas (Tina), Louis Brown (Jessica), Margaret Dorsey, Mary Johnson, Pat Dyson (Tim) and Louise Smothers (Wade); his siblings, Sam and Amy; and his sister-in-law Annie M. Adams.
