He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Esther and Joseph Allen Pilkerton; and his siblings, Richard Lee Pilkerton, James Richard Pilkerton and Catherine Linda Pilkerton.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ann; his daughters, Rose Pilkerton and Terri; his grandchildren, Anna Rose Ardeeser, Sara Elizabeth Ardeeser and Erik Dillion Wedding; his great grandchild Reginald Lamont Chasten; and his brothers, Andy Pilkerton, Gail Pilkerton (Sherry) and Larry Pilkerton (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
