It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Louise Miller of New Windsor, Maryland, born in Westminster, Maryland, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Anderson Miller, Jr.; her parents, George W. Owings, Jr. and Helen Hughes Owings; and her siblings, Richard "Dick" Owings and Martha Owings.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Steckel (Marc) of New Windsor and Debbie Dempsey of Emmittsburg; her stepdaughter Michelle Frederick (Brian) of Park City, UT.; her grandchildren, Carter, Bryce, Holden, Izzy Dempsey and Korinna Frederick; her siblings, George "Buck" Owings (Margaret) of New Windsor, Ruth Claypoole of New Windsor, Carl Owings (Debbie) of New Windsor, Harry Owings (Nancy) of New Windsor and Bob Owings (Kathy) of Westminster; and also Phyllis Owings of Garnavillo, Iowa. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
