He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Carter; his children, Johnny Wayne Carter (Katie), Risé Lorraine Berger and Ellie Mae Seal; his grandchildren, Jonathan, McKenzie of Abigail, JJ, Thomas, Nate and Savannah; and his brothers, Kenneth "Bussy" Carter and Steven "Peanut" Carter.
