He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kessler and Pearl Bartlett Kessler; and his brother Stephen. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kessler; his daughters, Cheryl Emerson of New Windsor and Karen Johnson (Chip) of Frederick; his grandson Brian Johnson of Brunswick; and his siblings, David (Judy) of Myrtle Beach and Sally Adams of The Plains, VA..
