He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Goettee and Thelma Price Goettee; and his siblings, Douglas Goettee and Joanne Sutherland. He is survived by: his wife Marian Scheder Goettee; his children, Jeffrey David Goettee (Consetta) of Los Alamos, NM, Elisa Goettee-Galinaitis of Westminster and Alison Goettee Manger-Weikel of Yorktown, VA; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Anneliese Galinaitis, Emily Manger, Alexandra Owens (Jake), Sabrina, Cameron, Adrienne Weikel, Jeremy, Maxwell and Reuben Goettee; his great grandchildren, Emerson, Kalli and Wrenly; and his brother David W. Goettee of Fort Washington, MD.
