He is survived by: his parents, Ralph, Jr. Moats and Susan A. Moats; his brother Jesse Moats (Cristina); his nephews, Auggie and Hudson Moats; and his grandparents, Pat, Bill Doyle, Vera Lyla and Ralph Moats, Sr..
