He was predeceased by: his brother Paul Cheston "Chet" Buete; and his grandparents, Mary Lauterbach, George Lauterbach, Irma Buete and Everett Buete.
He is survived by: his parents, David Lawrence Buete, Sr. and Pauline Buete; his children, Amanda Disney (Buete) and Zachary Buete; his son-in-law Jarred Disney; his grandchildren, Annabelle Disney, Chancelor Disney and Miles Disney; and his cousins, Terri Buete, Lani Buete Gunn and Lori Buete Havemeier. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and countless lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor to the American Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
