He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles S. Diehl Sr. and Doris M. Strawsburg Diehl; his son Charles S. Diehl III; and his siblings, Joyce Diehl, Robert and George Diehl.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene F. Diehl; his siblings, Mary Franks (Russell) of Manchester and Roger Diehl of Westminster; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Diehl of Gettysburg, PA and Ruth Diehl of Littlestown, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home- New Windsor (310 Church St, New Windsor, MD 21776). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (310 Church St, New Windsor, MD 21776).
