Koontz (New Windsor, Maryland), born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. P. "Jake" Jacobs Jr. and Linda Darnell Jacobs; her mother-in-law Jeannette Koontz; and her grandfather C. P. Jacobs Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Steven R. Koontz; her son Brandon R. Koontz of New Windsor; her granddaughters, Emilee Paige, Quinn Harper and Peyton Grace; her siblings, Turena Boone (Mark) of West Virginia and Terry Jacobs (Patti) of Frederick; her nieces and nephews, Nikki Butler, Zack Boone, Kelsey Sweeney and Ella Jacobs; her father-in-law Manro R. Koontz; and her close friends, Tracey, Jill, Dawn and Kim.
