With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Eugene Groft Sr. of New Windsor, Maryland, born in Westminster, Maryland, who passed away on November 1, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Levine Groft and Alice May Ebaugh Groft; his siblings, Doris Bynaker, Donald and George Groft; his siblings-in-law, Sue Groft, Calvin Bynaker and Edward Will; and his sons-in-law, Robert Edmondson and Charlie Walkling.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie E. Groft (Robin), Teresa Walkling, Billy Groft, Jr., Karen Edmondson, Ricky Groft and Brian Groft; his siblings, Marie Arlene Will and Shirley May Lafferty (Donald); his grandchildren, Richie, Todd, Amanda, Brad, Stephanie, Jen, Michael, Jonathon, Tommy and Ricky, Jr.; and his close friends, Melvin and Penny Zepp. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
