It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Wade Thompson Sr. of New Market, Maryland, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy James and Mildred Miller Thompson; his brothers, Roy James Thompson, Jr., Lewis and John L. Thompson, Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Gene Brashears, Elsie Thompson, Doris Thompson and Betty Ann Thompson; and his nephews, Tony and Larry.
He is survived by: his son Ron Thompson Jr. (Robin); his stepson Patrick DeRosa; his grandchildren, Joseph Thompson (Erin), Madalyn Andrew (Cameron) and Desiree; his great grandchild Evelyn Thompson; his sisters, Mildred Brashears and Nancy Wicks (Roger); and his in-laws, Mary Jo LaFrance and Daniel Jokie Ryan.
