He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thompson Wicks; his daughters, Veronica "Vicki" Schultz and Suzanne "Sue" O'Brien (Dan); his grandchildren, Shannon Bosse (Charlie) and William "Will" O'Brien; his great grandchild Myla Bosse; his in-laws, James "Bill" Thompson II, Mildred "Boots" Brashears and Julia Thompson; his siblings, Dolores Canham (Jerry), Charles "Chuck" Wicks (Donna), Robert "Bob" Wicks (Betty) and James "Jim" Wicks (Pat); and his in-laws, Roy Thompson, Jr., John Thompson, Sr. (Betty), Lewis "Buzz" Thompson (Elsie), Ronald Thompson, Sr., Gene Brashears and Doris Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bush Creek Church of the Brethren (4821 Green Valley Rd, Monrovia, MD 21770).
