He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Kaye Clem Long; his children, Jeffrey W. Long (Lisa) of New Market, Shelley M. DeGrange (Mark) of New Market and Kelly D. Rippeon (Jeff) of New Market; his grandchildren, Jonathan W. Long, Kaitlyn M. DeGrange, Sarah B. Long, Rebecca E. Long, Adam J. Long and Hunter W. Rippeon; his great grandchild Alayna M. Long; his brothers, James "Skip" Long (Betty) of Frederick and Gary Long of Woodsboro; his sisters-in-law, Cathy, Heidi, Miriam Long and Janice Ely; and his close friends, Timmy, Mike, Brian Brashears, Ed Stitely, Robert Remsburg and David Kline. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
