He was predeceased by: his siblings, Femi, Sheyi Ashamu, Sheun Abiara, Dola Soretire, Bunmi Ashamu and Yetunde Okorie.
He is survived by: his parents, Dr. Yekini and Felicia Ashamu; his wife Annie Ashamu; and his daughters, Valerie, Victoria and Isabella Ashamu.
