It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Thompson of New Market, Maryland, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thompson and Esther Thompson (Weigard). He is survived by: his wife Roxine D. Thompson; his sons, Brian (Jane Ann) and Michael (Elizabeth); and his sisters, Alice Snelbaker and Kay Sunday (Jim). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
