It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Alexander of New Market, Maryland, born in Barton, Maryland, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth "Red" and Elizabeth "Mid" Russell (Andrews); her brother Joseph Ellsworth Russell; her sisters-in-law, Janet Russell, Phyllis Russell and Sharon Russell; and her nephew Greg Russell.
She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Alexander; her son Jack (Jean); and her siblings, Robert "Bob" Russell, C. Richard Russell and Peggy E. Connor (Richard Barton).
